What does this app do?
Fisher-Price Smart Connect app (iOS/Android) is a mobile app that a parent can use to control and customize all of your smart connected Fisher-Price nursery products, such as night lights, baby swings, bassinets, and plush soothers. The app allows parents to set up the child's favorite night time music and sound soothing settings, as well as customizing night time routines and sleep training features. The goal is to leverage the mobile app to enhance the parent's and child's overall experience with the physical product.
What are my team's accomplishments?
My design team has been working on redesigning the app experience since 2017. Our team owns the full digital experience, including product vision, UX and UI. We successfully launched in China in 2018 with an App Store rating of 4.8 stars out of 5, and launched globally (US, China, Canada & Europe) in January 2020. The global app now has over 10 different products designed and integrated, with more coming down the line.
The Fisher-Price Smart Connect app is widely used by parents world wide. The team is making a huge impact by making parenting just a little easier by focusing on designing with empathy and predictability. We understand that when it comes to parenting, their time and energy is very precious. Every tap and second we can save the parent matters.
